Respect other players
Treat opponents as people, whether a game lasts ten minutes or ten days. Disagreement about a move, score, clock, or result is not permission to abuse someone.
- No harassment, threats, stalking, hate, sexual abuse, or encouragement of self-harm or violence.
- No slurs, degrading attacks, repeated unwanted contact, or sharing another person’s private information.
- No impersonation, scams, spam, malicious links, or graphic or unlawful content.
Protect fair play
- Play your own moves. Do not use a Go engine, automation, outside assistance, or a second account to influence a game or rating.
- Do not manipulate clocks, disconnects, matchmaking, scores, takebacks, resignations, or repeated games to create an artificial result.
- Do not exploit a defect. Stop the affected action and report enough detail for Quiet Ko to investigate it.
Use profiles and messages responsibly
Handles, names, bios, avatars, and game messages must follow these standards. Keep conversation relevant and stop contacting someone who asks you to stop. Do not use public profile or game information to target a player elsewhere.
Block and report
Block a player when you do not want further matching, invitations, or chat. Report conduct that may violate these standards and include the relevant game or message context. Do not organize false or retaliatory reports.
Enforcement
Quiet Ko may warn a player, remove content, restrict social or game features, adjust an affected result, suspend an account, or permanently close it. The response depends on severity, context, history, and risk. Contact support@quietko.com if you believe an enforcement decision was made in error.
